The culture of Monument Sotheby’s International Realty is defined by its PEOPLE; A collaboration of exceptional global real estate advisors who provide personalized service, local expertise and unparalleled worldwide exposure. We are pleased to welcome Linda Gruber.
From a farm girl in Central Illinois to a University of Colorado graduate to city life in Chicago where she met her husband and birthed two children, to life in Colorado and Virginia, to currently living in Fulton, Maryland, Linda has an exhilarating life. Along the way, Linda enjoyed career roles as a hospital administrator for preventative medicine, wine book editor, and a researcher at The Washington Post Company. She loves her current real estate profession; she is now in her 32nd year.
Linda’s varied background and perceptive intuition help her clients from all over the world find their home. She is an excellent listener, contract writer, creative thinker, and possesses exceptional business skills as well as sophisticated visual skills. Perhaps her finest asset is her communication ease—Linda engages easily, makes friends easily. Not surprisingly, most of her clients become her friends. She has superior client retention and satisfaction, performing subsequent transactions for them, as many as 6 times.
Her professional experience includes residential sales, new home sales, commercial sales, vacant land sales, agricultural land sales, farm sales, water rights, embassy work, residential rentals, and commercial rentals. She practiced with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty while living in Colorado.
Linda’s other interests are in the visual arts, having done volunteer work at the Denver Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D. C. She savors time in her studio working in oils and pastels. Her mother was an antiques dealer, which sparked an appreciation for tasteful interior design and architecture. Travel is a habit she is eager to resume, favoring Presidential Libraries, Presidential homes, and national parks within the US, while European spots are also high on the list! With a love of the outdoors, we’ll find her on walks or in the garden cultivating roses.
