Kim has 35 years of professional experience, mostly in senior management, in the investment business analyzing cities, counties, townships, and states, and all that operates within them, seeking investment opportunities – an objective she obviously shares with all homeowners, residential, and commercial investors. Kim added real estate licensure to her portfolio of professional expertise to enhance what she offers to clients in all facets of the business. She has spent most of her career in senior management which has included serving as Director of Municipal Research at Alex. Brown and Legg Mason and as an analyst with sole responsibility making investment recommendations for ~$6 billion in mutual fund assets in Boston.
Kim grew up in Baltimore, attended public and private schools, has lived in seven neighborhoods in town from Canton to Guilford, and has lived in Boston and London. She has traveled extensively worldwide since developing a thirst for international travel while studying economics in London. And she has served as an advisor to The World Bank and International Finance Committee working on municipal projects in Africa and Eastern Europe.
After returning to Baltimore 20 years ago, Kim’s love for real estate, historical architecture, neighborhood enhancement, and identifying opportunities evolved into her advisory role in real estate development and neighborhood improvement, serving as the President of her Historic District, co-founding various task forces in the Arts District, Reservoir Hill, and Mount Vernon, and successfully proposing the naming of the Lady Baltimore Park in 2017. Kim was eventually asked by a local Judge to manage all of his local real estate holdings which evolved into her managing real estate and estate liquidation. Her knowledge of analyzing areas, enjoyment of architecture, and experience managing real estate will enhance what she offers you in every facet of whatever you seek to accomplish with your real estate objectives.
