2018 was another landmark year for Monument Sotheby’s International Realty. We welcomed 26 new agents that brought a diverse and talented skillset, officially giving the company over 100 agents in total.
Among our sales accomplishments were the highest per square foot sales in Baltimore and the first and second top sale in Anne Arundel County.
Our sales meetings continued to break the mold with unique locations, inspiring guest speakers, community volunteering, prizes, and even a tour of Sagamore Distillery.
Monument Sotheby’s International Realty partnered with local organizations to sponsor community events including a gameday with UMBC and Rally on the Rails on behalf of the Gilcrest Foundation.
The Ruxton Office opened in January 2018, extending our services and reach in Baltimore County.
Shortly after in March we had the grand opening of our Severna Park office, where we were joined by the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, CEO Liz League, and the State’s Attorney Wes Adams.
Throughout the year, we had another round of exceptional artists from our community display their artwork in our Roland Park gallery. Their creativity was celebrated with grand opening receptions, complete with hors d’oeuvres and good company.
The year was perfectly capped off with our holiday party at the Bygone, where our team had been the first guests only the year before (how time flies!)
Guests sipped blue champagne, caught up with colleagues and their family, and enjoyed panoramic views of the city.
2018 has proven to be our best year yet with over 935 transactions and nearly $300 million in total volume. We are proud to be licenses in MD, VA, DC, PA, DE and FL. We continue to send and receive referrals from around the world through our global network.
