Monument Sotheby’s International Realty Celebrates Agent Success at the Sagamore Sales Meeting

The Sotheby’s International Realty brand didn’t arrive here by accident. Sales meetings created to maximize inspiration are no accident either. In a world of conference table meetings, we decided to be different.

On October 23 agents and special guests joined together at Rye Street Tavern to learn about brand updates, explore new marketing resources, and hear from distinguished speakers.

Robert Byrne, Vice President of Affiliate Services Northeast, joined with us again from Sotheby’s International Realty to kick off the meeting by speaking on the power of the brand.

Carolyn Nagy joined us from Sotheby’s to talk about the unique partnership we have with the Auction House, including historical roots that run decades deep.

Our team got a preview of what Pablo Troncoso, a Professional Trainer and Business Development Coach, will be bringing to our development training next month. He spoke about words that resonate with him, noting the importance of, “inspiring the inspirers.”

President of Weller Development Marc Weller and Scooter Monroe then described the plans for the urban development of Port Covington. The $5.5 billion residential and commercial development will expand around the existing Sagamore Distillery and Baltimore Sun headquarters to create a waterfront destination.

“Baltimore is a city of development and growth,” said Marc Weller, describing the inspiration for the tech-forward space.

Before heading out, we surprised our agents with an unconventional raffle. Winners popped the balloons decorating the hall, with prizes that included whiskey, Ravens Tickets, gift cards, and more.

Of course, after being served their award-winning whiskey that afternoon, we couldn’t resist capping of the day of networking by going on a private tour of Sagamore Distillery.

Thank you to all who joined, and all who will be at our next meeting!
