Luke Gonzalez is often asked if his name is short for “Lucas.” It isn’t, and if he had a dollar
for every time someone asked, he’d probably have a great down payment for a house!
Luke currently lives in Westminster with his twin sister, Molly, her boyfriend, Evan, and their
two dogs, Asher and Camden. He was born and raised in Hampstead, where he lived with
his parents, Rob and Julia, for 27 years. Today, he is proud to work alongside them at
Monument Sotheby’s International Realty. It’s not the first family business they’ve shared.
Years ago, they owned Snickerdoodles Bakery together, so working with his parents has
become something of a tradition.
Outside of real estate, Luke enjoys staying active. He still tries to play soccer every week
and bowls in leagues at Greenmount Bowl. Whenever he has free time, you’ll likely find him
exploring the woods, hiking, and foraging for mushrooms, usually with his favorite four-legged companion, Asher.
Luke attended Carroll Community College and McDaniel College before deciding to help
his parents full-time at the family’s bakery and pursue a career connected to the culinary
world. After the bakery was sold, his parents transitioned into real estate and spent the
next six years encouraging him to join them. Eventually, Luke decided to make the leap and
return to working alongside his family.
