Alex Ryan joins Monument Sotheby’s International Realty

Monument Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to welcome Alex Ryan to our team of experienced agents.

Alex began exploring his real estate passions early: selling renovation products and services while studying economics at Cornell, then marketing and leasing residential property while studying business at Johns Hopkins.

After college he moved to his native Clarksville and successfully marketed and sold new luxury homes throughout Maryland, achieving numerous accolades including exceptional sales volume and client fulfillment.  Alex’s invaluable experience in land negotiation, acquisition, development, and marketing strategy with luxury custom builder Classic Homes of Maryland further solidifies his expertise in the industry.

Alex has provided builders and clients guidance for home staging and merchandising and has directed the restoration, renovation and investment projects of his and his family’s homes & farms.  Having practiced throughout the greater Baltimore & Washington D.C. areas, Alex has an immeasurable adeptness of the real estate pulse in markets stretching from Western Maryland to the Eastern Shore.

“Alex has been working in new home sales since 2009 with industry leaders including Ryland, K. Hovnanian and CalAtlantic and has also worked in property management for giants Bozzuto and JBG Smith. Alex is excited to be expanding his business with Sotheby’s International Realty and is looking forward to working from our new office in Howard County,” says Kimberly Kepnes, Vice President of Development at Monument Sotheby’s International Realty.

Alex brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to Monument Sotheby’s International Realty that is boundless, enabling him to connect and collaborate with anyone and work with any product from raw land to high-end luxury estates.  This is not only reflected through his remarkable performance and abundance of referral business, but also through his friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, warm professionalism, and the highest of standards to which he consistently holds himself.

Alex enjoys the arts, swimming, downhill skiing, having bonfires with his dogs, and spending time with his family on their farm in Western Howard County.  He lives with his two Giant Schnauzers and Great Pyrenees at his country home in Florence, Maryland.
