Monument Sotheby’s International Realty Introduces Heather Swan

January 9, 2019 – Monument Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes Heather Swan to their team of dynamic agents.

Heather Swan has been a practicing real estate attorney since 2004, with half of that time in Howard County, Maryland. As a real estate attorney, Heather represented lenders and property owners in connection with transaction closings, leasing (commercial and residential), condominium and homeowners’ association documents, as well as serving as a title agent. Heather’s legal experience puts her in the unique position of having in-depth knowledge of all aspects of a real estate transaction. Heather is excited to use this knowledge and her legal experience to help sellers and buyers achieve smooth transactions.

Heather is a long-time resident of Columbia, along with her husband of more than 20 years, Chris – a full-time professor at UMBC, and their children, Camryn and Liam both of whom attend Howard County Public Schools. She serves on the board of the Heritage Housing Partners Corp., which allows Heather to play a part in supporting affordable housing in Howard County. Heather is also a graduate of the Leadership Howard County Leadership Essentials program.
