Effy holds a B.A. in Psychology and Certification in Elementary Education from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Upon graduating UMBC, she began a career teaching Elementary Education then later obtained her M.A. in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University.
In 2006, Effy obtained her Real Estate license and since then has been through many cycles of the real estate market. “My experiences taught me valuable lessons about closely watching and adjusting to market conditions while giving sound guidance to clients to better position themselves,” says Effy. “I learned that the value of consistent, persistent, and progressive marketing along with professional staging really set my properties apart and created instant and long-term success.”
