The Faces Behind the Success: Meet the City Living Team

Lisa Pozderac, Rebecca Lemon, Chevelle Welsh and Caroline Nowell of the City Living Team

We asked our City Living Team to answer some questions about the real estate industry, their favorite places around town and more- learn what they had to say!

Name and office location?

We are the city LIVING TEAM working out of the Ritz Carlton Marina Office in Baltimore, Maryland.

Where did you grow up and what do you love about your hometown?

We all live on the South Baltimore Peninsula, which is comprised of Federal Hill, Locust Point & Riverside. We love our steamed crabs, Baltimore Orioles and our Ravens!

What is your favorite thing about the Real Estate industry?

We love how excited new buyers are to settle on their new home and move in. Their enthusiasm gets us up and moving every day. As an extra plus, we get to see most of our clients throughout the neighborhood.

How long have you been in the industry?

We are a great mix of old school and new school agents with industry experience spanning two decades.

What is your most memorable experience you have had working with a client?

It all boils down to not only helping our clients, but building lifelong friendships. There have been too many great experiences to pick just one out. We have helped clients that have lost their home in a disaster, clients that have needed to short sale a home to move on, and young couples excited about starting their new lives together.

What does the Sotheby’s International Realty Brand mean to you?

SIR Brand sets us apart. Luxury is not a price point. It is a level of service our clients have come to expect. Our marketing is unparalleled and our reach is global.

What is your favorite style of house?

The Historic Baltimore Rowhome. We love the exposed brick, original beams and hardwood floors, with roof decks and private courtyards.

In your opinion, what is the most important room in a home and why?

Undoubtedly the kitchen! It is where we gather with our families every evening for dinner to share our days, and our friends on weekends and Holidays to celebrate.

What is your favorite thing about the Baltimore area?

We love South Baltimore! Our community is drenched in History from Fort McHenry in Locust Point to Historic Federal Hill with its sweeping views of the Baltimore Harbor. And, no weekend would be complete without the Baltimore Ravens, or the Orioles playing in our back yards.

If you could have a home on the beach or in the mountains, which would it be?

The beach of course. There is something super special about a water view! Did I mention we have water views from our roof decks?

What is your favorite thing to do for fun?

We are Ravens Nation!! So attending a Ravens Tailgate & Game is one of our favorite things to do.

Do you prefer to eat dinner at home or go out to a restaurant?

This is really tough… We have great farmers markets and seafood here in Maryland so cooking at home is always yummy. On the other hand, Baltimore has become a Foodie Destination with great neighborhood restaurants. So a healthy mix of dining in and dining out is what South Baltimore is all about.

If you could take an all-expenses paid vacation, where would you go and why?

WE are the city LIVING TEAM and LOVE city life. So our top destination would be a great beach city with killer food… Here we come Miami!

What is unique about the area/neighborhood you work in?

We can walk to most of our listing and showings. We live amongst our clients, they are our neighbors and friends!

What recommendations would you give to someone who is new to the area?

Be prepared for hundred (if not thousands) of people walking to the Stadiums and tailgating throughout South Baltimore on game days!
