Hrisoula Mavromatis explores mixed-media fine arts while depicting unique representations of dreamy landscapes, experiences, portraits, and orthodox iconography. She frequently considers the quote “She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something”. With this in mind, Hrisoula plays with minimal backgrounds, color spectrums, and textures such as beading to direct the viewers’ eyes throughout her pieces. Most recently, her work was highlighted in Times Square, New York and published in Visual Art Journal. She would be happy to discuss more about her current inventory, private commissions, organizational challenge coins, and logos.
