Monument Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes Jim Clifton

Monument Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to welcome Jim Clifton to its team of experienced agents.

Jim has spent over 35 years in the information technology business. He began as a sales executive with Sun MicroSystems and most recently as Vice President of Sale and Marketing for GiveStream, providing engagement for more than 1.5 million non-profit organizations worldwide. Jim also served in the United States Air Force at various bases around the world, including the Arctic Circle and Pentagon.

Jim’s love of historic homes and real estate began with his wife’s 1860 family farm in Howard County. It grew through their bay front Victorian on Kent Island and settled in their current 1790 Federal Colonial retreat in Frederick.

Jim and his wife, Laura, have a shared interest in the revival and restoration of classic homes, and have extensive experience breathing new life into classic properties. Although they thoroughly cherished the beautiful waterfront and lifestyle, Jim and Laura are delighted to now reside in the Frederick area, spending more time with family and their two grandchildren.
